I was half way through today day when I realized what day it was... I was actually at Wal Mart filling out a check, when I got to the date line- and thought about it.
I actually used to have a bank slip from Sept 11, 2001, kept it for awhile, must have lost it during our second move. That morning I actually slept in, when my mother called me to tell me I was blow drying my hair to go out and run errands; yes I cried. Quite a few times that week actually. I'm sure we all did. I have a nephew who was born on 9/11/01. Where were you?

That was such a weird day. Just kind of somber. I was up at ISU when it happened and found out at the institute building. We just watched it on tv during class. Did you watch the reading of all of the names on tv? I still can not believe how many people were killed. Sad day!
We actually spent the night at the cabin in Bone, and I was just getting ready, putting on my makeup in my firebird...I turned on the radio, and I yelled to Levi "we are at war" The second tower was just hit...I couldn't even believe it was happening, I thought it was the end of the world! I ended up skipping beauty school that day, and we went to the mall, to find out that just about every store was closed, so we went to Ashley's Furniture, I think to watch it their tvs.
thanks for all the comments on my blog... it would be fun to get together soon. So the pictures on your blog is that your home you live in now??
Hope all is well... I was up at my parents when 911 happened. Just hanging out. My friend was in the hospital having a baby... she said everyone was watching the tv and not paying attention to her.
she pretty much delivered her own baby..
